Wei is a textile design student at UAL. Her pieces are very intricate, she likes to use different materials to create her garments as seen below. Wei likes to create her own colours by dying the fabrics/materials to create her exact vision. The contrast between the different shades in the colour are similar but defiantly not the same, which is a very difficult thing to do and she's executed it beautifully.
Helen is very experimental and likes to push boundaries, she can make any material look alive and moving, even something as stiff and hard as plastic, the textures make the plastic look soft and light.
Wei has decided to study interior design, the impact colour has in our lives is huge, even the colours of the walls in our homes can change the atmosphere and mood of the people in the room.  She will continue to inspire and wow us with her unique work.
